The wealthy gentleman mentioned that he had noticed Femi Otedola’s caring nature towards his loved ones, including his employees.

He stated, “Throughout the years, Femi, I have observed that you have a deep concern for your mother, children, siblings, and everyone around you.” Davido’s father applauded his prosperous colleague for his contributions to the Nigerian economy

Composing the description for the clip, Femi Otedola said, “Flashback: Remembering my 60th birthday greetings from Deji Adeleke, who is also known as Baba Davido.” In the comment section, Afrobeats sensation Davido used his catchphrase, “Richest.”

What Davido said is true. Femi Otedola is truly recognized as one of the richest entrepreneurs in Africa. He recently divested his interests in a publicly listed, diversified conglomerate overseen by Tony Elumelu.

Sources revealed that Elumelu bought Otedola’s shares through a put option contract based on the firm’s closing value, which will be paid in several installments over an extended period.

The announcement created a stir in the financial markets when it was revealed that Otedola had increased his stake in the conglomerate to 6.3 percent.

Through the purchase of approximately 5.52 percent of Transcorp’s shares, Otedola became the company’s principal shareholder.

The transaction involving Otedola’s holdings in Transcorp was carried out through a company owned by the tycoon and the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria

At the end of the trading day, roughly 1.5 billion units of Transcorp shares, valued at N2.1 billion, were transacted on the Nigerian Exchange Limited.
