Daily Post reported on Friday that some residents of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, asked the Abuja Federal High Court to extend President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure and stop the inauguration of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu over failure to secure 25% votes in the nation’s capital.

Senator Sani in his reaction on his Twitter handle on Saturday described those seeking for the extension of the current president’s tenure as anarchists. Continue Reading>>>

Senator Sani wrote, “Those in court seeking for the extension of the tenure of this administration are anarchists.”

Recall that the victory of Bola Tinubu in the just concluded presidential election is been contested by the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party and Labour Party. In one of the arguments of the Labour Party at the tribunal, Tinubu did not secure up to 25% of the vote cast in FCT hence, should not have been declared winner of the February 25 polls.
