During an exclusive interview with BBC Pidgin, Nwashara, who spoke in Pidgin English, revealed how he found the baby in the night CONTINUE READING when he was coming back from a party. He said, “I was afraid and shocked when I saw the baby that night inside a dustbin. I have never experienced such a kind of fear before, but I didn’t leave the baby there because that wasn’t how my mother trained me

The law graduate further narrated how he took the baby to the police station and later to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with Kwashiorkor. He added that after taking care of the baby for some time, she metamorphosed, and he is now looking better than when he found her.

Further speaking, he noted that the adoption of the baby has brought good luck to his life, as he now thinks like a parent and plans his life well. He promised to sponsor the child until the doctorate level and also pledged to give her the good things of life.
