Speaking during a recent interview with correspondents of The Punch, he argued that had the leadership of the party listened and addressed their grievances, they would have been dancing their way to the Presidential Villa by now.

He said: “There was a disagreement on a very genuine policy that was established in the party. I remember that the former chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu refused to listen, and we have the outcome now. We would have been dancing before the gate now, getting ready to enter the Presidential Villa. We will learn.” Continue Reading>>>

Recall that in the build up to the presidential elections, Chief Bode George, along with five governors, threatened that if the embattled National Chairman was not replaced with a Southerner, they would work against the party’s presidential candidate. And since the party refused to yield to their demands, they held their grounds and did as they said.
