According to a news that was published by The Nation Newspaper online this morning, it was reported that, investigation confirmed that, Hon. Doguwa’s abandonment of the G-7 group of lawmakers, vying for the seat of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, may make the group to lose steam. Continue Reading>>>>

A source, who spoke under the condition of anonymity said that, the G-7 group, were pretending as if nothing has happened after Doguwa left them but, the truth of the matter is that, Doguwa’s decision to pull out of them also affected them a great deal and it’s still affecting them.

 

Recall that, Hon. Doguwa, had during a meeting between the Joint Task-10th Assembly and other members-elect on May 17th, announced his decision to support Honourable Tajudeen Abbas, who was endorsed by the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Chief Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, wholeheartedly. The source said, “It was two former aspirants that flanked Doguwa. He is a loyal party member who has benefitted immensely from the All Progressives Congress. So, when he was flanked by the two former aspirants, Hon. Makki Yalleman and Hon. Abdulraheem Olawuyi, both of whom also stepped down for Abbas, he (Doguwa), was left with no choice than to also step down.”
