In accordance with the 1999 constitution, “the departing officials—including presidential assistants, 28 state governors and their cabinet members, National Assembly and state assembly members, and local government chairmen—will also collect the assets disclosure forms from the CCB and submit them.” Source stated. As previously reported, Bola Tinubu, the country’s incoming president, “swore on Thursday in Abuja to uphold the trust that the outgoing president, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret. ), and millions of Nigerians had placed in him.”

PUNCH further reported, The speaker claimed that, “he is aware of the gravity of the honor bestowed upon him and the associated responsibility that lies before him.” Source added.
