He stated that he had challenged the Presidency and the higher-ups that the figures will do nothing to suffice the infrastructural problems in the Nation.

According to him, the challenge of funding was one of the biggest problems that they faced in the ministry.

He however noted that it was an unavoidable situation because of the recession in the global world. He pointed out that the administration still managed to make some statement of intent with the infrastructure they had made over the years.

He said, ”There were challenges of funding and that was a big one. The budget for the Ministry of works in 2015 was N18B and I said it cannot work anything.

hose are challenges that we overcome shortly and methodologically. Budget size increased even in a recession, we inherited a recession that was predicted and foretold.

And it happened under our watch, it doesn’t matter who was in office, it was going to happen. In spite of that, we had the best approach to combat the recession.”
