The Supreme Court recently dismissed a suit filed by Atiku and the PDP, in an attempt to halt the inauguration of President- elect Bola Tinubu and Vice President- elect Senator Kashim Shettima.

The PDP had raised concerns about Shettima’ s alleged double nomination. In response to the court’ s verdict, Femi Fani- Kayode took to Twitter to express his views. He suggested that the ruling demonstrated that Atiku and his party had failed to intimidate or compromise the judges, implying that they had attempted to manipulate the judicial process.

Fani- Kayode, a prominent member of the APC, further claimed that the dismissal of the case was a victory for his party and praised Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He celebrated the court’ s decision, attributing it to divine intervention.

He concluded his post by expressing his hope that this judgement would put an end to what he referred to as the ” rabid lust for power” exhibited by certain groups, including the ” Obidients” and ” Atikulators. ” These terms were presumably coined to refer to Atiku’ s supporters.

Fani- Kayode’ s remarks on social media reflect his satisfaction with the Supreme Court’ s dismissal of the PDP’ s suit. His comments are aligned with his party’ s stance and promote the perception that the court’ s decision was just and independent. However, it is important to note that Fani- Kayode’ s views are his own and do not represent the official position of the APC.

The Supreme Court’ s ruling puts an end to the legal challenge brought by the PDP regarding the inauguration of Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima. As the country moves forward with the transition of power, the judgement ensures that the process remains in accordance with legal requirements and the Constitution.
