Edu emphasized that Bola Tinubu, a prominent APC member, is not a religious bigot and has actively given Christians representation in positions of power. For example, she cited Tinubu’s instrumental role in securing Senator Godswill Akpabio’s selection as the APC consensus candidate for the leadership of the 10th Assembly.

Edu further stated that Tinubu has ensured Christian representation in the party’s leadership even before his inauguration. She further added that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not a religious bigot and that he is one who will be for every Nigerian because around him is his dear wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu and she is a Pastor and a Christian. This is a government about the people. And his feeling will not be beclouded with Religion.
