According to reports from The Punch, Obi’s Media aide, Tai Obasi, also denied that Obi would be attending the president-elect’s inauguration ceremony.

He and his followers are obedient to the rule of law. Although they may occasionally act independently despite being urged to remain calm, these individuals are frustrated. They are displeased with the manipulation that occurred against Obi, who had instilled great hope in them. They supported him and waited faithfully,” Obasi added.

Regarding Obi’s attendance at the presidential inauguration, Obasi expressed that it would be “extremely peculiar for him to participate in the ceremony of a man whose election victory he is currently challenging in court.”

Meanwhile, Peter Obi has declared that the imminent inauguration and swearing-in of Tinubu will not deter him from maintaining his focus on reclaiming their allegedly stolen mandate.

Obi emphasized that Tinubu’s inauguration will only strengthen him rather than demoralize or weaken his spirit.

The Labour Party’s flagbearer affirmed that he refuses to give up or retreat from his determination to secure “his mandate.”

While Obi acknowledged that it will be a lengthy battle, he remains resolute and unwavering.

“I did not embark on this journey expecting it to be accomplished in a day; I knew it would not be easy. The inauguration will fortify me,” he stated.

However, the former governor of Anambra State urged his followers and supporters not to lose hope but to continue praying for Nigeria and consistently do what is right.
