Reacting to speculations that the Labour Party flag bearer and his Obidient movement would stage a protest close to Eagle Square to register their displeasure over the Federal Government’s insistence on having the swearing-in ceremony, Tai Obasi, an aide to the ex-governor, said he has no idea where such report is coming from or who is behind the proposed protest.

According to him, his principal is not aware of any planned protest to disrupt Tinubu’s inauguration. CONTINUE READING>>>

He said, although, some times the followers of the former Anambra State governor may act on their own because they are not happy about how everything was manipulated against the Anambra-born politician who gave them so much hope.

The media aide also said his principal can not act weird and unreasonable by attending the swearing-in ceremony of his counterpart.

He said, “My principal is a very humble and reasonable man who is always looking for peace and unity of the country at all costs. But it will be extremely weird for him to attend a ceremony of a man whose election victory he is challenging in court.
