Notable cases include defending Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and ensuring that his electoral victory was affirmed by the Supreme Court. Dr. Ikpeazu has informed Peter Obi that he will be fully reinstated and take over as president.

In a discussion regarding the quality of law graduates produced by the Nigerian Law School, Dr. Ikpeazu, who is himself an academic, emphasizes the institution’s commitment to maintaining ethical standards. All young lawyers, in his opinion, should be guided in their work by the values and principles they were exposed to in law school.
