Nwakaeti informed the court that he was a registered voter and that he had cast his ballot on February 25 at a polling place in his hometown of Anambra while being led in as evidence by Obi’s attorney.

The case was then postponed until Wednesday so that the proceedings may continue, according to Justice Tsammani.

According to NAN, President Bola Tinubu was declared the winner of the Feb. 25 presidential election, but Atiku and the PDP sought the PEPC to contest this decision.

As a result of claimed irregularities that tainted the vote in hundreds of polling places, Atiku sought the court to proclaim him the winner of the election or, failing that, to declare the election invalid and order a new one.
